Springsong want to sing a springsong
Just a little springsong
especially for you

verse #1
Winter days were cold and chilly
as my lonely broken heart.
Snow kept falling wind kept blowing
postman left no Valentines card.
Lonely near the fire place
all those long and empty nights.
Tears were dripping off my face
wind blew out the candlelights.

Then one morning, early sunshine
woke me up, got out of bed.
Looked outside and by the fence line
there he stood, the one who left.
‘Winter days were cold and chilly’
he said, a flower in his hand.
‘Sing me a song, sing it together
Let’s cheer this spring, it may not end.’
